A part of Queensland & me ...

Brisbane is the capital and most populous city in the Australian state of Queensland and the third most populous city in Australia. Brisbane's metropolitan area has a population of approximately 2.1 million, and the South East Queensland urban conurbation, centred around Brisbane, encompasses a population of more than 3 million. The Brisbane central business district (CBD) lies in a curve of the Brisbane river. Queen Street is Brisbane's traditional main street. Brisbane has a humid subtropical climate with warm to hot and humid summers and dry, moderately warm winters. From November to March, thunderstorms are common over Brisbane, with the more severe events accompanied by large damaging hail stones, torrential rain and destructive winds

A little of my story ...

I had a crush on this city! I arrived there in January, 2010, in order to learn english at school, for 3 months. I never forget  how I was excited to be there, of course there was an unknown country but I felt like a children who had a new toy, who wants to play with it without loose a minute! It was the moment of my life (until this) the most powerful. Before that, I had traveled but it was not the same thing as usually. A this time, I traveled in order to improve my skills and made of this become a citizen of the country. To fit in with the crowd!

Why this city? There are a lot of great places to learn english around the world, but I have chosen Brisbie! I was intrigued by this city that everyone talked about on the forum. I am from a little town in the countryside, so I do not want to live surrounded by buildings, I need peaceful parks! Brisbane have both...

"So, What will be will be!"

I was not disappointed and I am really in love with this city. I will show you how Brisbane is quiet and good looking, and I hope you will enjoy it... You know sometimes it is very difficult to make some choice, some of them could change your life and your way of thinking. But for me, it was when I told that I wanted to go at the other end of the world. When people don't know a subject, they react negatively, because they are scared! Therefore, we must be a diplomat, stay calm and explain everything well.

Regardless of the choices you made in life, those are your choices, it's up to you to do them and to bear them. Do not be led by anyone, and you listen to what is good for you!
