As you know traveling is not only monuments, places, people or hotels. It's also about food and about trying new taste. Food have a such importance in your life, sometimes it is not very healthy or tasted but it's a new experience and most of the time it becomes a memorable way of memories. Even if you don't travel, with food, you can escape in your mind through cultures and from where you're living. Find a typical restaurant near your home which cooks foreigner food and that's it, you're abroad! It is not easy to make the first foot, unknown always frightens. I decided to gather some of my pictures of dishes together to see what I've tried during these few months. Let's have a look of my food pics to make you want to do.

#FoodPorn in Scotland
Beef pie is a traditional meal to celebrate New Year's Eve in Scotland. This recipe is made of beef, sausage and onions, simmered slowly in a beef broth, topped with puff pastry and then baked. This is the centerpiece of the meal of the new year eve. It is served traditionally with mashed rutabagas, potatoes, mashed well (a combination called "neeps & tatties'), and of course excessive amounts of whiskey and beer.

Conch is a shell fish like an oyster. Unlike the slimy oyster the meat of conch is firm and white and is prepared in a variety of ways including conch chowder, conch stew, conch salad, popular conch fritters, and is also deep fried as "cracked conch".

Enormous sandwich made with a lot of stuff as meat, cheese, onion, bread and tomatos! OMG when the waiter served me, I thought "It's not my dish, you've made a mistake!". But it was my dish! Hopefully, they gave me a doggy bag!

I never thought that I would taste Korean food when I went in Paris, but it is sometimes in unforeseen that we make the best discoveries. I tried the Bibimbap which is a signature Korean dish. The word literally means "mixed meal" or "mixed rice". Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul (sautéed and seasoned vegetables) and gochujang (chili pepper paste). A raw or fried egg and sliced meat (usually beef) are common additions. The ingredients are stirred together thoroughly just before eating. It can be served either cold or hot.  This dish is so good and healty, I love korean food.

This is a fact: in Bahamas you will always eat at less one ice cream! There, Ben&Jerry's were my favorite.

Tiramisu is an Italian cake and dessert. It is made of ladyfingers (Italian: Savoiardi) dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone cheese, and flavored with liquor and cocoa. In this case, it was only made with chocolate, not coffee, perfect for chocoholics! The recipe has been adapted into many varieties of puddings, cakes and other desserts.

Great experience at Tribeca Grill Restaurant. Deserts were beautiful to see and also savoury, maybe too small...

Tim Tam is a brand of chocolate biscuit currently manufactured by Arnott's in Australia. A Tim Tam is composed of two layers of chocolate malted biscuit, separated by a light chocolate cream filling, and coated in a thin layer of textured chocolate. The Tim Tam Slam, Shotgun, Bomb or Explosion is the practice of drinking a beverage through a Tim Tam. Ideally, the inside of the biscuit should collapse with the outside remaining intact long enough for the liquid to reach the mouth. I'm addicted to this biscuit, but it's been ages since I ate one...

A quick stop in Grand Central Terminal, in New York. Finishing touches are not really beautiful... Asiatic food are everywhere there and my sushis were so tasted. It's ideal to make a lunch break but quickly crowded.
